On June 11th comes Ramadan Eid Al Adha, followed by Hijri New Year on July 3rd and Arafat Day on July 22nd. The Commemoration Day holiday falls on August 31st, while November 18 brings the National Day of UAE. Christmas is an official public holiday in Dubai, while December 2nd marks Prophet Muhammad’s Accession to Heaven (Ascension).
