Live, HD video feeds of events held during the global festival Expo Dubai 2020 will now be accessible through TVU MediaSource, a cloud-based platform for live and archived rights-enabled video content from global media organizations. Expo organizers cited larger audience numbers from the event’s TVU feeds than through traditional satellite methods.
TVU Networks is in partnership with Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), host broadcaster of the Expo 2020 Dubai, to provide footage from the festival which began October 1st and runs through March 31. Held every five years in different cities, World Expo’s share groundbreaking inventions and technology designed to address common challenges facing humanity.

High-profile events such as scheduled National Days commemorating the cultural contributions and leaders of particular countries are among the live footage available through TVU MediaSource. This month’s National Days include celebrations for more than 30 countries, including India (today, January 26), Canada (January 28), Australia (January 29), and New Zealand (January 31). Concerts and ceremonies celebrating the Chinese New Year (February 1) will be held next month, as will performances by noted musicians, dancers, politicians, and business leaders.
“There will be many noteworthy concerts and celebrations from now through the end of the Expo,” says Paul Shen, CEO, TVU Networks. “We’re thrilled to help bring the excitement of this incredible event to a global audience. Being chosen as the provider of digital HD feeds is truly a testament to our customers who’ve been providing dynamic live coverage from Dubai.”
In conjunction with DMI, TVU Networks is sourcing video footage from the region to anyone around the world interested in the event. Two live video sources from Dubai TV are being offered to TVU MediaSource and TVU Grid customers, and footage from the festival is available to all TVU Search subscribers for free. TVU Networks is offering its TVU One 4K HDR 5G mobile transmitters to visitors for rent or purchase as well as solutions within its cloud-based video production ecosystem: TVU Partyline, TVU Producer, TVU Server and TVU Grid.
