Expo 2020 Dubai beats SME spend target – Supply Management – Supply Management

A target to award 20% of Expo 2020 Dubai contracts to SMEs has been exceeded, with 6.8bn dirham ($1.9bn) worth of contracts won by small businesses.
The figure represents more than a quarter of all Expo contracts by value, according to state news agency WAM. Of the 3,245 suppliers awarded Expo contracts, 2,150 (66%) were SMEs.
