Country Chicken Co initially began as an online delivery platform in October 2021. After receiving an overwhelming response, a farm outlet shop in Pragathi Nagar, Kukatpally, opened in February 2022. Various kinds of country chicken like Kadaknath, Classic Andhra, Tender Telangana, and Mysore Queen are available at the outlet. The prices vary as per the weight and quality of the chicken.
“Further, we use high-quality organic feed such as aloe vera, sunflower seeds, cashew, pulses, and more,” said Mr. Hemambar and explained that many people think there is only one kind of Naatu Kodi. “Each Naatu Kodi is different in its own way, in terms of texture, color, and taste,” he said. For example, Kadaknath meat is extremely dark, almost black.
